RYAN BECAME A REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST AFTER GRADUATING FROM SUTHERLAND-CHAN SCHOOL OF MASSAGE THERAPY IN 2018. DURING THIS PROGRAM, HE GAINED EXPERIENCE TREATING IN MANY DIFFERENT SETTINGS, HOWEVER, HIS INTERESTS ARE MAINLY ASSISTING WITH THE REHABILITATION OF MUSCULOSKELETAL INJURIES THROUGH THE USE OF MANUAL THERAPY AND CORRECTIVE EXERCISE. SOME OF THE TECHNIQUES RYAN LIKES TO USE IN HIS TREATMENTS INCLUDE TRIGGER-POINT THERAPY, DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE, TAPING, AND STRETCHING.

PRIOR TO BECOMING A MASSAGE THERAPIST, HE COMPLETED HIS BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN PHYSICAL AND HEALTH EDUCATION AT QUEEN’S UNIVERSITY. THE DESIRE TO CONTINUE LEARNING ABOUT FITNESS, HEALTH, AND OVERALL WELLNESS IS WHAT LED HIM TO PURSUE A CAREER IN MASSAGE THERAPY.

Chloé holds a Bachelor in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy, all completed at the University of Ottawa. During her training, Chloé gained experience in various settings, but she enjoyed treating musculoskeletal conditions the most.

Chloé grew up in Ottawa, Ontario and much appreciates all the outdoor activities our region has to offer. As a former competitive dancer, Chloé sees movement as a way to achieve mental and physical well-being. She strives to help others restore and optimize their function via a tailored treatment plan.

Meghan is passionate about helping runners overcome pain by identifying the root causes of their issues. She prioritizes evidence-based treatments over temporary fixes, ensuring her patients understand their conditions and how to return to the activities they love, especially running.

With experience in community sports clinics and hospital settings, Meghan has specialized in working with patients with chronic pain, honing her skills in thorough assessments and holistic care tailored to runners. She holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto and has a background as a yoga teacher and registered massage therapist.

Her continuing education includes advanced courses in lower back and neck pain, injury management for runners, and pain neuroscience, equipping her to support those dealing with common running injuries like shin splints, plantar fasciitis, and knee pain. Meghan believes everyone deserves an active lifestyle and provides the guidance needed to navigate movement safely, helping runners get back on track.

Dr. Valerie Lamarre is originally a native from the Montreal region. Following some time in London, Ontario, Val moved to Ottawa to complete her undergraduate degree at the University of Ottawa graduating in 2013 with a BSc. Specialization in Human Kinetics. She then moved to the New York Chiropractic College, where she graduated in April 2017 as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Val specializes in helping patients reduce or eliminate pain, rehabilitation from injury, and helping athletes improve their athletic performance. She is a passionate advocate for healthy living through sport and athletics. Throughout her youth, she participated in a variety of competitive sports including Figure Skating, Martial Arts and Soccer.

Valerie’s approach to health care is holistic: she treats the body as a whole, not just at the symptoms presenting. She also believes that health is a team effort, which is why she strives to educate all her patients on how to stay pain free and functioning optimally.

Meghan was born and raised in Ottawa. She left home to complete her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University. She then completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s in 2013 and has worked as a physiotherapist in Ottawa ever since. Meghan enjoys getting to know her patients which allows her to provide a personalized treatment program enabling them to reach their goals. One of her priorities is that when her patients finish their rehabilitation, they have the tools to prevent recurrence of their injury/ self-manage any flare ups. She has a special interest in working with distance runners and the pregnant/ postpartum populations. Meghan also enjoys providing physiotherapy sports coverage and has covered many events including Canadian Track & Field Championships, Canadian Figure Skating Championships, high school football and wrestling, and OPDL soccer. Meghan has competed in 7 different sports and dance, played multiple recreational sports, and run half marathons. Since having her 2 children, she has gotten a PB in her 10k and enjoyed returning to weight training and playing touch football.
