Along with the comprehensive education as a chiropractic doctor, Dr. Joe is also a certified mobility specialist with advanced training through Functional Range Systems. He practices with an astute attention to detail providing specific movements assessments, measurable outcome measures, and personalized treatment plans that optimize mobility.

Dr. Joe also utilizes functional medicine to help people prevent and address chronic issues that interfere with their optimal performance. He integrates nutrition and supplementation in promoting optimal health and performance. Above all, he prioritizes treating each patient with genuine care.

Since his youth, he has enjoyed playing soccer, basketball, and running. He loves mountains, stargazing, and a nice cup of tea.

RYAN BECAME A REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST AFTER GRADUATING FROM SUTHERLAND-CHAN SCHOOL OF MASSAGE THERAPY IN 2018. DURING THIS PROGRAM, HE GAINED EXPERIENCE TREATING IN MANY DIFFERENT SETTINGS, HOWEVER, HIS INTERESTS ARE MAINLY ASSISTING WITH THE REHABILITATION OF MUSCULOSKELETAL INJURIES THROUGH THE USE OF MANUAL THERAPY AND CORRECTIVE EXERCISE. SOME OF THE TECHNIQUES RYAN LIKES TO USE IN HIS TREATMENTS INCLUDE TRIGGER-POINT THERAPY, DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE, TAPING, AND STRETCHING.

PRIOR TO BECOMING A MASSAGE THERAPIST, HE COMPLETED HIS BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN PHYSICAL AND HEALTH EDUCATION AT QUEEN’S UNIVERSITY. THE DESIRE TO CONTINUE LEARNING ABOUT FITNESS, HEALTH, AND OVERALL WELLNESS IS WHAT LED HIM TO PURSUE A CAREER IN MASSAGE THERAPY.
